Kristy’s Whistle Stop Group & Jennifer Turner Long

Jennifer Turner Long has been dancing for over 30 years and has trained and taught in Virginia, Ohio, Colorado, New York, and Pennsylvania. She has degrees from the University of Virginia and Miami University. In 2003, Jennifer created a dance studio that concentrated on developing dancers holistically as well as technically. Since that time The Studio has grown to offer a performing ballet company; hip hop, musical theater, tap, jazz, contemporary and modern classes; competition teams, and numerous performance opportunities. Dancers range from ages 2-70+.
In 2011, The Studio launched its first year-long service project by supporting the American Literacy Corporation. Subsequent projects include the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program for the United States Army, the Ronald McDonald House, the Juvenile Arthritis Foundation, Leg Up Farm (a non-profit therapy center for children with special needs), and this year’s project, the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Studio is also a proud member of 1% for Humanity.
Located in Enola, The Studio is thrilled to be supporting the East Pennsboro Foundation for our fifth year of Dancing With the Stars! The kids of our community will always be our greatest asset.
